FMS suddenly crashes.
This happens once every week or event more often.
Sometimes it happens a few times a day.
If I go into the server logs this is the message printed out: Failed to create thread (SSLPollThread Ctor).

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late answer.

    Regarding the dms... I went through the Stefan's steps.
    Here is the result
    WARNING: Stack unwind information not available. Following frames may be wrong.
    ntdll!KiFastSystemCallRe
    FMSEdge!operator++0x8a2c9t
    FMSEdge!operator++0x873eb
    FMSEdge!operator++0x8ac7
    FMSEdge!operator++0xe687
    kernel32!GetModuleHandleA+0xdf

    Do I need to send you the .dmp file as well?

    Regarding your other questions, here are the answers:
    1. Micosoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition Service Pack 2
    2. Flash Media Interactive Server 3.0.0 r1157
    3. The system does not go over 20-30% CPU usage.
    And that is mostly because of the FMSEdge process which goes up.
    4. We use mainly rtmps
    5. The application is used for interaction between support people and customers. There are shared objects used. We do not record video nor audio, but we do stream audio and video.

    Sometimes when the disconnect happens and the server resets itself the users connected to the application get a certificate error saying that the certificate is incorrect. We have verified it several times and it is correct.

    I will also add another monitoring to see what it produces.

    Thank you so much for the help.

    Hi,

    I am a developer with the FMS team. Can you please send us the core dump after the FMS crashes. The instructions on how to take a core dump are here :

    http://archive.flashnewz.com/2007/0928.html

    You will need to scroll down to Stefan's article.

    Also, I have a few questions :
    1. Which platform ?
    2. Exact version of FMS (including build number) ?
    3. What is the system usage like when this happens ? What is FMS's usage of VM ? Is the system crazily loaded when this happens.
    4. Which protocols do you use ?
    5. What does your application do ? Is it live or streaming ? does it record ? Does it use shared objects ?

    Please share any other info you think might be usefull.

    thanks,
    Mo
