HDS-live and HLS-live Not working

I have FMS Installed on CentOs and everthing works fine except http live sreaming.

If I attempt to access the hls-live stream I get: [error] mod_hlshttp [500]: Unknown exception when processing /hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream1.m3u8 (From Apache error logs)

If I attempt to access the hdl-live stream I get: [error] mod_f4fhttp [403]: No access to /opt/adobe/fms/applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent/MTYxMjAzMzAzNQ=.stream

I have trid adjusting folder and file permissions per a sugestion in another post, however this did not affect the issue.

Also I should mention hls-vod and hds-vod work fine.

Any sugestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you using bundled Apache or your own Apache? Also have you made sure that recording is going on fine without issues in livepkgr application. You can check if file is growing when you are publishing. Also you can check your core.00.logs to see if there were any recording errors?

In Response To SE_0208

I am using pre installed Apache with cutom mods installed. All are loaded and I have verified settings. Paths are set to full path (had to do this to get VOD working) and url's are resolving, just wiith above errors.

I have verified files are being created in applications/livepkgr/streams/_definst_/livesream1

Ok so bone headed mistake on the .f4m file. I was loading hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream1.f4m insted of hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m ( I am streaming 3 livestreams and using %i to auto increment.)

Now when I go to hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m I get:

<manifest xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/f4m/1.0">

<id>livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent</id>

<streamType>live</streamType>

<duration>0</duration>

</manifest>

Still will not play as the media player errors with:


"The F4M document contains errors URL missing from Media tag"

But its one step closer.

The stream at /hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream1.m3u8 still reports:

"

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

"

and causes an error "[error] mod_hlshttp [500]: Unknown exception when processing /hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.m3u8" in the apache logs.
