I am using the AWS version of the flash media server and attempting to stream content however, I am getting stuck. Following the instructions at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/amazonec2/WS6fc2df2b6d2ce24359910e2812c396a83eb-7ff8.2...., it says "4. Go to the Flash Media Playback Setup page at http://www.osmf.org/configurator/fmp/ and do the following:"  That link is broken. Can you advise where the updated link is?

Thanks,

Matt

It is, frankly, hard to believe that they are serious about this product. The most recent documentation has links to nowhere. If they are losing share to Wowza and others, should it be any surprise?

The latest help for AMS (not FMS) is available at Adobe Media Server Help | Adobe Media Server on AWS help without dead links. The top results on Google are not the most recent docs.

Also, this how-to video should help for the exact thing you are looking for: Introduction to Adobe Media Server on Amazon Web Services Marketplace - YouTube. Towards the end the video discusses SMP.

The answer was to go back to Wowza. Adobe dropped the ball.

I'm well familiar. Woe to anyone who attempts to navigate Adobe's tortured documentation, filled with dead or circular links. Only the most persistent will wind up in the right place.
