Trying to connect to FMS via rtmp:// failed

I cannot seem to establish a connection from flash via the flv playback component to the installation of my flash media server on my IIS web server.

I have port 1935 opened but it keeps on failing.

Can anyone suggest any considerations?

    Have you tried the port test at flashcomguru.com?
    What does your rtmp look like?
