For example, after downloading my Mixamo Character using the baseball swing animation, can I add a 'bat" object in another 3d program for the character to 'swing'?

yes you can use Blender, Unreal, Iclone or Unity to add to your models... I used to use Photoshop also but that no longer runs 3D

Thanks for the info...if it's not to much trouble, can you screen capture this procedure using Blender/or an older version of photoshop? I can't seem to be able to reveal the 'bone' structure to add let's say a baseball bat to a Mixamo character with a 'baseball hit' animation preset.  ty
