Can I create a table with Muse?
I have no knowledge of HTML.... learning HTML might be a good idea, but I really don't have the time for it right now.
Can I add an Excel table to Muse? Or is there a more simple way to create table with Muse?
You can insert excel table in Muse page or use any html generator to create a table and use the code output.
This thread will provide the exact steps for inserting excel table in Muse page :

With html generator , you wont need to define or add any code from your end , just select the options you want in your table and then copy the code and insert as html in Muse page.

Hi
Adobe Muse Table Maker Widget | MuseThemes.com is a third party muse widget provider, hence they are charging for subscription with them, I am afraid, within Adobe Muse we do not have any such widget available at this stage.

I have found that it is faster to just to make series of text boxes and arranging them in a grid. Its an effective way to make a table. I have full control of borders and spacing
using a widget breaks the content management system
