Hello:
I read on Adobe FAQs that you can publish a Muse website to a third-party host using FTP. I have a current website that's live and using a theme in WordPress, and it's hosted by Godaddy.
If I try to publish a new Muse website I created using the FTP hosting credentials from GoDaddy (including the domain that's connected to the website in WordPress), can it override the website in WordPress so the muse website is published?
Basically, can I go from having a website published from wordpress to one published from muse, using my hosting FTP. Sorry, relatively new at this.
Thanks for any guidance and feedback.
I suggest to save your existing website on a separate, new folder – move everything into this folder (including the index.html or whatever WP uses). Upload your muse-site by "Upload to FTP" command from muse, using the credentials from your domain and see what happens.
It should be no problem, although I read some issues with GoDaddy in older posts here.

Saving the existing website is the most important step. You can, as mentioned above, save it on your ftp or you download everything (filezilla, cyberduck, …) into a folder on your machine (including index.html). This could be uploaded again, in case something goes wrong. Ask GoDaddy about their requirements.
Best Regards,
Uwe
