I'm trying to use an audio player widget on one of my pages.
The page is simply a thumbnail, the audio track and a text description next to it. It'd look like this (if I could figure this out.)
So, what I did was place the thumbnail, the text box and the widget, and grouped them. The page is a responsive page. The problem is the ****ing widget won't stay put. Here's a video
Is this because the widget is not responsive? (though it's not even in the correct place when I *don't* change window size.) . The widget I'm using is this one: https://musewidgets.com/collections/all/products/audio-player-widget
If that's the problem, does anyone know of another free widget or HTML workaround that could work?
THANK YOU SMART PEOPLE!

Could you please give us the .muse file with only the elements shown in your screencast? Upload it to Dropbox, CC Files or a similar file sharing service and post the download link here. Then we will have a closer look.

will do!
So, the HTML and the images, plug-in, etc.... do you need the .muse file as well?

Thank you so much (also, Merry Christmas!)
Here are the files. Please let me know if there's anything else I should have uploaded!
Thanks again everyone. You have saved my butt multiple times, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!

Did you read my post 1?
I repeat:
„Could you please give us the .muse file with only the elements shown in your screencast"?
We don’t need the complete 120 MB+ site, the mp3 file, the widget, and the HTML file. It only costs upload and analysing time.
Concerning your issue:
All behaves completely as expected.
Which behaviour do you intend and/or expect?

I think this does answer the things that are causing me problems.
What I am first going to try is:
Thank you very much

Sorry about the upload. I thought that's what you meant but then I saw your response to someone that you were asking for the ".muse" file, so I uploaded the file with the .muse extension
Sorry about that!

Why do you need a widget to play <audio> which is natively supported by all browsers and web devices? No players or plugins are necessary for HTML5 audio or video.
HTMLaudio.
<audio src="MY_AUDIO_FILE.mp3" title="TITLE OF MY AUDIO FILE" preload="auto" controls="controls"></audio>
Layout ini a table.
<table>
<tr>
<td><img src="https:/dummyimage.com/150x159" alt="thumbnail"></td>
<td><p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Saepe odit voluptatem, quaerat impedit dignissimos ex fugiat. Minus eius soluta ab fugit alias numquam. Vero recusandae, deserunt maiores consequatur delectus doloremque.</p>
<audio src="MY_AUDIO_FILE.mp3" title="TITLE OF MY AUDIO FILE" preload="auto" controls="controls"></audio>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

This doesn‘t solve the issue.

No, it doesn`t, Nancy. Really.
md95802659, did you ask "123Muse.com." about this? They most likely know, if the widget is responsive, what means, if it repeats over some breakpoints and is able to get resized. I assume, this does not work for that widget. You may use one widget for each breakpoint, which is of course not very nice but maybe a workaround. If that works, then you know the widget is not done for responsive sites.
You may have a look at muse-themes.com. Unfortunately it needs some cash, but the published an Update Log:
So it may work on responsive pages. It may be a question of money, though. You may ask muse grid as well, if they can help, they have a pretty good chat function so it may get quite fast, but don`t take it for granted, please.
Kind Regards,
Uwe

fotoroeder: I am not sure, if the widget is the culprit. May be we have a simple layout issue. Therefore my question to share the .muse file.

Yes Günter Heißenbüttel, of course it is better (and cheaper) to double-check if it is a layout issue.
I assume you think about the grouping of those elements?
I just experienced, even from muse-themes, that some widget had to be copied as many times as I had breakpoints,
because even with fixed width breakpoints it didn´t work, and they knew about that, so … let´s see what comes up here.
Kind Regals,
Uwe

I own that widget as well and have no issue with it but I agree with Günter, that we need to see the layout in order to answer this question mate
