we have a number of e-learning material in Muse, which we need to export to another platform, such as Captivate.  Is there any way this can be done, without having to "cut and paste"?

What do you want to export to another platform? The content? Except the option of exporting a .muse as html, in order to work with a site in a code editor of your choice there´s no way to export content to another platform.

If I got you wrong, sorry.

Kind Regards,

Uwe

Short answer.  No.

Muse files can only be read by Muse.  No other software supports .mu files.

You can export Muse projects to HTML.  However I don't know if Muse's machine generated code is compatible with Captivate.  I've never tried it.  Why don't you ask in the Captivate forum.  Maybe the experts there will know.

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for?

I confess to not having any direct experience with it, however it's worth a look if WordPress is how you move on.

I hope it's of some help.

Best regards, Euan.

Nancy is absolutely correct.

Wordpress is not e-learning.

However it is very extensible and many plugins exist that may help.

https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/tags/elearning/

Perhaps one of those may work and give you an export option using LMS to something else.

Best regards, Euan.
