WHY IS THERE NO SOLUTION TO THE INCOMPATIBILITY OF GRADIENTS FOR VERSIONS THAT HAVE BEEN UPDATED?
I MADE GRADIENTS IN BETA VERSION 24.6 AND WHEN UPDATING TO MORE RECENT VERSIONS THERE IS NO COMPATIBILITY WITH GRADIENTS!!!!!
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IF YOU ARE UPDATE YOUR PREVIOUS FILES, YOU CANNOT OPEN THEM WITH THEIR GRADIENTS?
HOW IS THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED? THEY SEEM TO NOT CARE!!!!!!!!!

Hi @JuanJo_EB
If a fill has been created using the Modern Gradient tool, changing the dropdown to Classic is disabled. It can be done by deselecting all layers or selecting/creating a raster/new layer. The dropdown setting is sticky which means all following gradients will be using legacy implementation.
It is also possible that in the development of the gradient feature some changes were made that could make older gradients created with older beta's not compatable with newer, updated beta apps. This is why beta should not be the tool you use for production work, that is what the release version is for.

Hi Cory, I appreciate your answer.
Your answer confirms that this is a SERIOUS problem that Adobe must urgently address, for example, if I am using version 24.6 and I use gradients or gradient maps as adjustment layers in this version, when version 24.7 comes out and I want to open the same file, Photoshop eliminates my adjustment layers from those gradients, this is really absurd and serious regardless of whether I use them as classic or not, don't you think? I mean, with the updates we shouldn't have problems, I understand if you want to open a file in a downward version but not an upward version, can you explain?
Now with respect to what you mention about the BETA version, exactly the same thing happens with the NORMAL version, even worse because there is an annoying bug that causes the cursor to get stuck every time we click, which does not happen in the BETA version. Does this BUG have a solution?
They are having too many problems updating at all times, practically every month they updates and always with errors.
