How do I write a bug report?Released

When logging a new bug report, it's helpful to the Photoshop team when the information in the report includes steps describing how they can reproduce the bug experience. Brush tool not working on layer MasksOpen for Voting

The brush tool is not working when painting on a layer mask. Opacity, blend mode, brush setting, color (black/white) all normal. I either have to change tools, change layers or make some other change to get it to start working again. Totally random which “fix” will get the tool working again.Also, when in Quick mask mode, a black or white brush will paint white. Again, all settings “normal”.Running 28.01 Beta. Hi(and happy new year!) I can't find the Photoshop (beta) in my Creative Cloud Desktop.Under "Categories" I can see it all (... Video, Illustration, UI & UX, 3D & AR and Acrobat & PDF) but no Beta-category.... please see attached.Is this because I'm living in Denmark? The Color Picker Eyedropper tool is not available to me!

I installed the Photoshop Beta version. However, I can no longer use the Eyedropper tool to change the font color in the Swatches panel, as I could in the regular version of Photoshop.Now I have to press the Q key to enter Quick Mask mode (see attached screenshot), which allows me to change the font color.Is there a way to enable the Eyedropper tool in the Beta version so that it works as it has always done in the regular version of Photoshop?ATTACHED IMAGE:The attached screenshot shows Quick Mask mode, which I had to use because I could no longer access the Eyedropper tool to change the font color in the Swatches panel.On the left-hand side of the image, you can see my usual watermark: NorthernTaigaPhoto. A question about Photoshop Beta - 28.0.1 release:In the color panel on the right side, it now has a redundant RGB slider. How do I remove it? Dragging it upwards to hide it is not possible. Basically, some genius thought the RGB sliders must be displayed at all times for no good reason. What’s the way to remove/hide it???

Photoshop (Beta) v 28.0Windows 10Since the update none of the submenus for the tools display properly and if you mouse over them they scroll directly between the top and bottom options, which you can select, but nothing in-between.I reverted back to v 27.12 and everything worked fine again. So I updated to v 28.0 once more only for the same issue to occur.

Select Type tool, type some text. Select it & try and change the color with the text color picker. The text just flashes with no color change. Using the eyedropper from the same color picker gives the same results.

In Photoshop Beta 28.0.1, when selecting a color, the HEX field remains empty instead of displaying the corresponding hexadecimal code.Furthermore, the new Color Picker is significantly more confusing and less intuitive than the previous version.It is unacceptable that Adobe redesigns such a fundamental tool only to make it less practical and efficient. When I am brushing in or out on a masked layer, after one or two switches between black and white, it stops switching and I can only brush in or out. It makes it impossible to use masking on my layers. It doesn’t happen every time, but probably about 75% of the time.

The Color Picker window is really huge and does not work properly. It fails to select the color I am trying to sample. This started with the last update.Open for Voting

When I try to change a layer style by sampling a color it gives a huge window in the wrong color or just stays on the color that was last used. Here, I am trying to sample the teal color in the image background. The only way to change the color in the Color picker mode is to change the number values or use the color bar. The mouse converts to the eyedropper tool, but it does not grab the color I am want. Here I reduced the window to show what the color picker window looks like, and I see a hint of swatches at the bottom, but that is all I can see. I am on BETA 28.0.1
