In Adobe Photoshop, the updated Canvas Size dialog fails to record relative dimensions when recording an Action. This works correctly in 27.3.1 (Release), but is broken in 27.4.0 (Beta). Steps to reproduce Open any document. Create a new Action (in the Actions panel). Click Record. Go to Image → Canvas Size… Change the units to millimeters (mm). Switch the size mode from Absolute to Relative. Enter values: Width: X mm Height: Z mm Click OK to apply. 27.6 20260404.m493Steps to reproduce:Select any OTF font. Type a dash followed by a word of your choice with no spaces. Example: “-Hello”. Apply any degree of stroke via styles. Add a space in-between the dash and the word. Photoshop should have froze if steps were followed correctly.

  So as you can see, it's a PG-13 relatively inoffensive image of a woman in a bunny outfit. The top worked fine, and I was able to complete the top ear, which is cool. When I tried to extend the bottom with generative fill, though, I got this warning. They're just a pair of legs wearing stockings, and I wanted to extend it. It feels like a false flag - though I could be wrong? I find myself thinking it would do the same for women in swimsuits. Figured I'd share here.

Hi! I've been getting this message for a while (Photoshop Beta and 2026) when I try to use the object selection tool.I already tried to reinstall photoshop, to reset the reset the PS preferences, to update graphics card and to change image processing (faster/more stable). Nothing fixed this problem. This tool just doesn't work anymore.Any solutions?Thank you.

After the update, it’s not possible to select the generative AI engine because they are not visible.  

Smart Sharpen dialog panel error when accessing adjustment sliders section. 

Apply image drop down used to default to the last used , it now does not and you have to manually enter settings each time. 

Created smart object in photoshop beta 27.7   then applied Topaz Studio → Photo filter.   Topaz version 1.4 opens and works fine.  Then save file and see the smart filter created - it says Topaz Photo AI.  When I go to edit the smart filter it starts the wrong version of Topaz - it is using the old Photo AI version 4.    Photoshop should reopen the studio version.Looks like photoshop is storing the incorrect filter program

In Photoshop 27.7.0 I can't select AI models. See attached images. None are available to select. Have the same problem on two different Mac's. 

Since updating to Photoshop Beta 27.6, the model selection interface in the Contextual Task Bar has become non-functional. While the 'Choose a model' dialog box triggers and opens correctly, the selection pane remains entirely blank, failing to load or display any available AI models (Firefly, Gemini, or Partner models).This is a persistent regression; the feature was fully functional in previous beta version, current version : Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.7.0 20260415.m.3506 55a492a  x64 (beta, PublicBeta)

I have plenty of credits to use, but no model to choose from.

When I am in Bridge, I have set the option to open images automatically into Photoshop Beta. When I do this the first time it seems to work fine, but when I select new images to open it fails to open them.The Photoshop Beta then fails to quit and I have to force quit and restartI’ve updated to the latest version of Bridge and Photoshop Beta, I’ve closed everything down and rebooted my system and I am still experiencing the same problems.

It used to happen live, now you need to tab out of the field in order to have the preview update. 

Starting with a cut out of a fence post:  I used the Rotate Object feature to rotate it around the Y axis so that it faced the correct way and was tilted correctly.The first time I applied the transform by clicking Done, it look ok, but I then used the Edit rotation option to make some minor adjustments, and after it finished rendering, I was left with just the sign from the post:  

I am experiencing an issue with Generative Fill in Photoshop.Every time I try to use Generative Fill, I receive one of the following error messages:"An error occurred. Please try again later." "We encountered an unexpected error."This issue has been ongoing for the past 2–3 days and happens consistently on every attempt.What I tried:Restarted Photoshop Logged out and logged back into my Adobe account Tested with different files and selections Checked my internet connectionNone of these steps resolved the issue.Additional info:The problem appears to be consistent and not file-specific. Photoshop 27.6.0 Beta - using Find Distractions General.....I often get this error "288b8e.122".  It occurs when I run the General Distraction finder, and then select a particular kind, e.g. vehicles......then I used the ⌘- key to try and brush away the removal on, say, one of the vehicles leaving the rest - and it faults.  If I let all the vehicles run, it removes them all - so it has to do with trying to remove part of the selection.Start the Find Distractions | General Tool - on an image with some vehicles and other distractions When complete, turn off / select none; then just select the vehicles option Using the ⌘--key, brush away one of the vehicles and then confirm with the check-mark  Watch for the error “288b8e.122” Try again - but do not edit the generated masks…..seems to run okay  

Bei Arbeitsfläche ändern, muss man jedes MAL die Maßeinheit neu auswählen (bei uns cm). Auch unter Voreinstellungen "Maßeinheiten & Lineale" kann man das nicht ändern, bzw. bringt es keine Lösung.

After the latest Beta update, the Beta version crashes when clicking on a photo, both with the mouse and with the Wacom drawing tablet! I have reverted to version 27.5.0 (so I am not installing the update that is currently available). 

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with Generative Fill / Generate in Photoshop BETA.After selecting an area in the image and clicking Generate, the following error message appears:“There was a problem and your request could not be completed. Please try again later.”The issue happens consistently every time I try to use the feature.Could you please help identify what may be causing this issue and how to fix it? Thank you.

You have to fix again every preset-color settings - preferences etc from scratch

I’m on Windows. I have the correct update. It won’t respond when I try to remove distractions that I wanted to keep with the “-” button.
