P: Color channels displaying incorrectly in levels and curves

In PS 28.01 there appears to be a minor issue in how the color channels are displayed in both Levels and Curves layers in their new layout; RGB displays correctly as a multi colored circle, the red channel is displayed as a blue circle, green is correct as a green circle and the blue channel is displayed as a magenta circle. I'm seeing this on a Win 11 PC, I dont know if its a Mac problem too?

This just appears to be an icon display issue as the channels are in their usual order

I’ve found the same fault and I posted it as a bug yesterday so its not just you!

@CShubert I did a clean install for PS 28.0, I’m now on 28.01. I’ve just taken your advice and reset my preferences and the problem is still there.

Shouldn’t I be seeing red-green-blue circles instead of this white/green/green ones? I’ve tried with curves, levels, both as direct adjustment/adjustment layer, and different images. But it’s always the same.

Hi @Carlos_Oliveras are you on the latest Ps Beta?  Looking at your image we see the panel as expected.

If you are on the latest, you might need to redo your preference file.

    1. Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
    /Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

    2. It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

    Thanks,

    Hi Cory, thanks for replying.

You say: “Looking at your image we see the panel as expected.  “ - how come? 🤔

    My image:

    Your image:

Am I the only one seeing different colors? 🤔

And yes, I am using the latest beta. Anyway, I’m replying just out of curiosity, maybe I’ve suddenly turned color blind 😅

If this is not a known issue, I will just put up with it. Not worth resetting preferences and going through the whole circuit of trying random things.

    Thank you.
