Hello, I have already programmed a Photoshop plugin and put it in the marketplace for free.
Now I am working on my second plugin. This time I want to sell it.
Now I am not sure if selling it as a subscription or for a fixed price works better.
Therefore my question,
may I publish the same plugin under different names to offer different payment methods?
E.g..
Name 1 : My-pluginname -->(for subscription model)
Name 2 : My-pluginname Lifetime -->( for one time payment)
both would get all updates, but the customer can choose if he prefers to pay subscription or one time payment
also, how are your experiences with selling plugins. Is it worth it at all?

I recommend reading more about pricing and/or benchmarking similar product pricing structures. Pricing software is more than just the cost of the software; you must anticipate maintenance, bug and security fixes, and general support. The latter should always be a recurring fee, or you'll likely be losing money.
