I've just received an email from Adobe offering 50% off Adobe Elements and Premiere Elements
The email says the price is £80.05 as opposed to £119.14 for the pair
However, £80.05 is not 50% of £119.14
By that calculation the price should be £59.57
So Adobe are overcharging on their own offer, which is weird.
Worse still, when you go to buy the website changes the price to £87.60
Anyone here been able to buy the products at the advertised 50% off?
And is there an official retail price?
Hi Davidb and all,
Apologies for the mistake in the initial email, we're working to resolve the email issue.
Here are the links to get the Elements bundle at the correct discounted price.

Thank you.
That's great
It appears that you don't get to this link when you answer the Adobe email
The email even quotes a different retail price
Have emailed Adobe about it. Hopefully, they read those emails before they end up on Watchdog.

If it was really from Adobe, it will not be read, as it would have been sent to an inbox that is not monitored.

Yes it's really unfortunate that Adobe seem to be sending out emails advertising the product first at the incorrect retail price and then increasing that price once you get to the website. And to top it all the special offer is more than they are already advertising it for elsewhere on the website.
I wonder if they'll now give refunds to all the people who bought it at the wrong price.

The email had the incorrect price displayed, as well as an incorrect link to purchase. That was indeed our mistake.
If anybody did purchase at the incorrect higher price, feel free to contact our Customer Support team to get a refund for the difference: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?step=PSE_membership-account-payment_payments-invoices-orders_st...

Alternatively, Adobe, who already know which customers paid the wrong price, could just give an automatic refund
Unless a customer stumbles on this forum they will have no idea they've been overcharged

At least your products work. I purchased Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2022 in July. According to this forum the products would run on an M2 Mac. What they didn't say is that they are extremely slow and lagging. Pretty much a halfbaked product. Stupidly, I didn't get a refund right away. In Sept 2023 Adobe released an M2 optiimzed version. No they want me to pay an addition $120 for the upgrade for products that never worked in the first place. I could have paid that much for Final Cut when it goes on sale. Avoid Adobe. Their customer service is a joke. Their products are halfbaked with a UI that looks like its from 1996. Luminar is much superior product then Photoshop Elements if you're on a Mac and they don't grift you for updates. DaVinci Resolve is free but an overkill for most people, but at least it works.

That's a pretty weak rant, don't let the screen door hit ya on the way out.
