My original download link the from the store does not work any more and I don't have access to my account anymore. Does anyone know how where or how to download photoshop elements 2020 in this situation? Thank you!

Do not rely on downlink links being available from Adobe forever. Adobe is notorious for silently removing download links and leaving users in the lurch.

 

Be self-sufficient. Once you''ve got a successful download, store it somewhere safe with your serial number in case of future installs. I have stored my installers in Dropbox - with a separate text file containing the serial number - for about 10 year

There is no official explanation from Adobe but it seems that the Elements installer expects the Creative Cloud desktop app (CCDA) to be installed, even though Elements is not a Cloud app.

 

Download and install the CCDA. No need to subscribe to anything. Then install Elements.
