Hi everyone.

Here's the background info for all my products before I get into the question.

I have a Canon EOS 1300D, which is the European model of the American Canon which is the Rebel T6. I accidentally ordered the European model, even though I live in America, but it's fine. Anyways, I have Photoshop Elements 12. The version of Camera Raw on my Photoshop Elements 12 is 8.5.0.236, and I checked for updates going to Help > Updates, and it says everything is up-to-date. The reason I am frustrated is because I had recently taken photos of a concert in RAW format and I wanted to edit them because that's what photographers do, and I got Elements 12 because that offers Camera Raw editing, but now I am stuck! Whenever I try to open any of those photos using Camera Raw, it says my camera isn't supported by the current version of camera raw. BUT I CANNOT UPDATE IT! Help me out! I went to another help page on here and I saw the minimum requirement for Camera Raw for my camera is update 9.5, however, my Camera Raw is "up to date" and I am assuming there is no higher update and no way I can get up to 9.5?

PSE12 doesn't get any updates for latest cameras so your only option is to use DNG Converter.  This can been downloaded free of charge from Adobe website.

<Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows >

Alternatively, upgrade to version 15 of Photoshop elements.  did your camera not come with its own software that you could use?  Some camera makers bundle their product with their own software to transfer photos from the camera to the computer system.  Also, Operating system might have something to upload your photos on to your machine and then you can use PSE12 to edit them.
