Can I reverse the order of the objects in a Photoshop Elements album?

I just created an album in the Photoshop Elements 18 Organizer that is meant to show a timeline of events in 2022. But I selected them (foolishly, in retrospect) by viewing photos and videos from most recent to oldest, so they are in the reverse order that I want to present them in. I know that I can move the elements in there one-at-a-time to get them in the order I want, but is there a way to reverse the album order from oldest to newest?

Use the Sort by: dropdown menu to change between Oldest and Newest.

Note that when you have an Album selected, Album Order will appear as a choice.  (Starting in Elements 2022, I believe, this is automatically chosen.)  When in Album Order, you can click and drag thumbnail(s) to your own selected order.

  • Press Ctrl+A to select all the photos in the Album
  • Create a new album

The photos in the new album should now be in the correct order.

Of course! Why didn't I think of that? Excellent idea. Thank you.
