Hi,
Been having issues opening/editing Canon CR3 files in Elements 2020 (v. 18.0), running Camera Raw 12.0.0.321. When I attempt to open the CR3 file I get a message that says "Adobe could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document". Julie
Although you have told us that you have tried following several posts you have read, it's not clear exactly what you have attempted. Thank you! I figured it out. I noticed that files had the same name and so I figured it was not updating. Then I did notice that there were different dates for the Camera Raw.8bi file and so copied and pasted into the correct folder, and its been working fine since. That's a helpful link, I just wish I knew that the updated CR had the same file name as the old CR.
Thank you!
Julie
