Elements 2022 on Mac using Catalina - I have two catalogs converted from elements 10 and each time I want to switch catalogs in the catalog manager I have to browse to find it. Is there any way I can have the manager list both catalogs eliminating browsing?

The catalog manager shows all the catalogs of the same version if they are:

- in default location

- or on 'custom' location on the same drive.

 

Note that nothing is provided to help you 'switch' catalogs easily in the sam

The catalog manager shows all the catalogs of the same version if they are:

- in default location

- or on 'custom' location on the same drive.

 

Note that nothing is provided to help you 'switch' catalogs easily in the same editing session since you are supposed to work on a single catalog by principle. Using different catalogs is what is needed for different users or for different domains (private, job...) Using a single catalog can manage more efficiently two different parts of your library via keywords or albums.

 

So, maybe just move your different catalogs either in default location or in the same drive.

Thank you! I moved the catalogs via catalog manager to catalogs accessible by current user and voila now both catalogs show up.
