Elements 2018...I download what I thought was one font and received a package of fonts from adobe. I deleted the lst file and emptied my recycle bin. The files were gone until I opened elements and they reappeared back in my files and are still on the dropdown text. I really want these files permanently deleted. Please Help.

An lst file is not a font or a package of fonts. Deleting it will make no difference to your fonts.

How do I delete them?

Fonts are added and deleted by the operating system:

Only my window fonts are listed there. Not the fonts I downloaded,

If you just downloaded them and did not install them, look in the folder where you saved your downloads and delete them from there.

Bob Thanks for the quick reply. They are not in download folder. Also, I might mention that the fonts said they were available in CC. Which I did not nor do not have.

Go here and look under My Adobe Fonts where you can deactivate the fonts which will in turn remove them from your computer.

The text files are located here. An example of the text reader:

That’s still not a font. The problem is, we don’t understand what you’re seeing, how you got there, or why it’s a problem.
So, please tell us more, especially the names of the fonts and the web page where you downloaded them.

The problem is it creates too many fonts on the dropdown in elements.

One example of a font is Kozuka. I downloaded them from adobe. I am a novice as you can tell. After researching could the file be in a special windows folder? Could this be connected to CLSID?

You may want to uninstall, use the Adobe Cleaner Tool, and reinstall (Yes, it works for Photoshop Elements, too):

Bob, the adobe cleaner did not solve the issue. Could the fonts be in a windows special folder? What is CLSID?

Use System Restore to a point before you downloaded the fonts.

The Kozuka font and a whole lot of other fonts are included with the install photoshop elements 2018, so are you saying that after you installed photoshop elements 2018 is when you discovered all these extra fonts?
Or if you downloaded the Kozuka font from adobe, this is the only place i'm aware that adobe offers fonts from:
(if downloaded from below, then the fonts are indeed "hidden" in an obscure place on your drive, not listed in
windows fonts, so that would explain why you can't find them)
