Hi. I've been trying to install an old version of Photoshop Elements (2014) on a new laptop and every time the install completes, I restart my computer as instructed, and it completely crashes the entire Windows system. The computer doesn't move past the HP logo during the boot sequence, and I have to put the laptop into recovery mode, use my recovery key and use a restore point to be able to use my computer again. I don't think it is a compatibility issue, as I had Windows 11 on my previous laptop and Elements ran without issue on it. Any thoughts/ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any error messages?

Over the years, have you installed PSE2014 on two computers? If so, did you sign out via the help menu on your old laptop?

The license is for installation on two machines.
