Elements 2019 Won't Work after macOS Monterey Upgrade

New Here ,
Oct 30, 2021 Oct 30, 2021

I can use the Raw editor, but when I tell it to open the file in Elements 2019, I get a message like

“NSCreateObjectFileImageFromMemory-JAIG3Jp5” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

I know how to go into security and allow a file, but unfortunately it is a new file with a new name every time I try, even the same picture again.

Did I just lose Photoshop?

Not guaranteed to work.
Only 2022 has been announced to be compatible with macOS 12.

Elements 2022 isn't in the app store yet.  Can I just not do my work now?

It does not seem to have been released on the Mac App Store yet.
Currently, to purchase 2022, you have to use Adobe's store.
It cannot be upgraded from the 2019 version in the Mac App Store, so a new purchase is required.
(You won't find an upgraded version in the Mac App Store either.

Also, macOS itself is an operating system with an extremely short support period.
In some cases, it may be more convenient to sign up for a Photography Plan.

I have the same problem, I bought it in the Mac App Store where it states that it is compatible with newer version of MAC OS.

Adobe: Why do you say its compatible when it is not? If you purchase a product based on that information....... So unless Adobe plans to make an update to Elements 2019 we just lost photoshop against all promises of performance: see screenshot.

You're screwed and can't do anything about it.   They only support the newest version (PSE 2022) and one version back (PSE 2021).  Issue an update for pse2019?  It simply will never happen.

You have Monterey?  You're screwed- your only option is to subscribe to the full version of PS.  Until Adobe issues a fix for pse 2022 to be compatible with monterey- you can forget about using PSE under monterey.
