elements organizer 21

I have photoshop elements 21 on a 2020 razer gaming laptop. 32 gigs of ram.. graphic 1660ti. Opening and using the organizer literally sucks everything out of the computer. When i try to copy and paste any images to a folder on the computer, I just get the hour glass of death for a very long time.

Any incite to the issue would be most welcome. Ive tried to update, did update once since install in april of 21, and ive done as clean of an remove, deletes all files and reinstall as I can figure... the organizer just sucks.. well it works ok while using but you cant do anything else on the computer while its running. I dont have this issue with any other programs like On1 photo suite..

What is the current size of your catalog? Any specific operations you are doing which lead to performance issues in Organizer?
