How to update Canera Raw to my Elements 2022?

I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 from Best Buy a couple of months ago. The Camera Raw with the purchse was 14.1 and I need to upgrade the Camera Raw to version 14.4. Downlowned the file from Adobe web site and installed. After the installation, it still shows 14.1. I turn off the computer and then turn it back on, it is still showing 14.1. Why the app didn't take the update? Help!!!!!!!!!!

@Rosee, follow the instructions in this workaround from Adobe to update Camera Raw on your computer.

The file that you need to copy in Step 8 is "Camera Raw.8bi".
