Have been using Nik Collection for a while with PSE 2023. One day an error message stated that there was insufficient ram... the after that the error message states: "Functionality is currently not available"
There are no issues with all the other Nik Collection tools.
The Viveza folder exists in the plugin folder for PSE, and shows up in the Nik Palette.
However, Viveza no longer shows up in the Filters sub menu.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled Nik multiple times (with restarts), and just uninstalled and reinstalled PSE 2023. Still have this issue.
Has anyone else seen this?
Thank you
Was able to fix the issue.
1. I also reached out to DXO Support - after some investigation, they sent me instruction on how to run the Nik Cleaning Tool. That resolved the issue.
2. Meanwhile, Adobe Support provided me with instructions steps for a clean re-install of PSE. Everything is working right now. Will keep that as a troubleshooting step if experience similar issues in the future.

I have this same issue with Nik Collection 5. Have used Viveza on nearly every photo for almost a year, then suddenly, it was no longer in the Filter--NikCollection options. When I bring up the Palette, it lists Viveza, but when I click on it, it gives me the "functionality" message. I too have uninstalled/reinstalled Nik and PSE. Nik is also installed on my DxO PhotoLab and Viveza is there and works perfectly, leaving me to believe it may be a PSE problem? Can anyone help us???

Hi, sorry to hear you're having the same problem. I've been trying to speak to someone in technical support, they keep postponing. Will let them know that my problem is not unique. Hope to get back with any resolution.

I have contacted DxO support but have not heard back from them yet. I have also contacted Adobe, but have not heard back from them either. Since the same download of Viveza works fine in Photo Lab, but not in Photoshop Elements, it seems likely that it is a PSE issue. Just posted here to let APiperni that I was having the same issue and to bump the issue forward in case someone new saw it and had an answer for us.

Hi,
Was able to fix the issue.
1. I also reached out to DXO Support - after some investigation, they instructed me to run the Nik Cleanup script. That resolved the issue. They also identified that my PC did not have sufficient PC resources for the new workflow I was using; i.e. >open raw file with DXO PL7 > export to PSE23 to do other edits > created layer for Viveza edits. So have chnaged my workflow to close DXO PL7 if using.
2. Meanwhile, Adobe Support provided me with instructions steps for a clean re-install of PSE. Everything is working right now. Will keep that as a troubleshooting step if experience future issues.
Will be closing this post.
