No photos in Organizer but all there in Windows Explorer

Somehow all of my photos have disappeared in PSE 2022 Organizer (and there were a lot).  I am perplexed about how this could possibly have happened.  However, in WIndowns Explorer all the photos are there in the folder linked to Organizer.   I have tried to repair the cataog but response was "no errors were found in the cataog".  How can I get the photos back into Organizer?  I have a backup from a while ago, but I'd prefer to reconnect Organizer to the photos if that is possible..

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I suspect that you have removed all the photos from view by (accidentally) clicking Ctrl+1.  If you click Ctrl+1 again, the photos will magically reappear.  If that is not the case, please give us a screenshot of what you are seeing (or not seeing).

Thank you for your suggestion.  However, it does not seem that is the problem. Please see attached screen shot.  I do not want to do a full recovery as my photos are all on OneDrive, and if I recover to OneDrive, it will take weeks to synch all the photos again.  If I could recreate the Catalog and point it to the existing Photos that might work, but it probably would not work.PSE 2022 Issue.JPG

Your screenshot indicates that the catalog is empty.  The catalog is named My Catalog 2.  What happened to My Catalog and My Catalog 1 ?

Go to File>Manage Catalogs and see if that shows any other catalogs.

Also, how have you placed your photos into OneDrive?  Elements can only work with files that are maintained in the OneDrive folder stored on your hard drive.  If you have moved all of your photo files to the Cloud without maintaining synch with your hard drive, I believe the photos will be lost.  Not sure about that, so I will ping @MichelBParis another Community Expert who is more familiar with using OneDrive.

What other file management procedures have you performed before Elements displayed this empty catalog?

Thank you for your reply.  Regarding OneDrive, all of the photos are physically on the hard drive, as well as backed up in OneDrive.  This has worked fine for years.  I have been using My Catalog 2 for years, although I can't recall how I got to this point.  My Catalog 2 is not empty but is 10GBytes.  PSE is telling me that no media has been loaded into PSE. All the photos are available in Files Explorer. I'm perplexed.

In your screenshot, you have your I drive selected in the My Folders panel. Click on the All Media button at the top left of the (empty) grid.
