Open PSE 2024 to EDITOR by default

How can I bypass the "home screen" to open PSE 2024 EDITOR page by default?

I don't yet have 2024 installed, but you should be able to go into Program Files and find the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe file and make a shortcut for it on your desktop.

On Windows 10 with 2020:

Many thanks, Bob - all too easy!  I thought maybe I had to add a /Editor or similar to the shortcut.

That may still work in Windows but on a Mac when you do the equivalent (link to the 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 Editor.app') the program informs you to start through the main program and then quits. This is foolish because I typically right click on a file and select the program where I want to load the file and so starting the basic program, going through the startup page (of no interest to me) and then selecting the editor then loading the file is very annoying and unnecessary.
