PE 13 sign in required after deleting Creative Cloud

Been using PE 13 for years. Creative Cloud showed up several months ago eating up process time. I deleted it recently and today PE 13 requires a sign in. Is it related and or how do I get around the sign in?

You don't. You have to sign in.

You need to be on-line one time only for activation. Then stay signed-in.

If you sign-out you are deactivating the software.

Figured it out. Had to enter the 24 digit serial number after clicking on the sign in.
