Photoshop Elements 2020 on old OS version 10.15.7

After the free trial of PSE 2020 on my Mac (Catalina version 10.15.7) I paid and tried to download but Adobe wants to download 2024.

I believe that Adobe does not sell PSEv.2020 any longer. The current version is PSE2024.

PSE 2024 won't work on catalina, you're out of luck.  If you made your purchase from the Adobe site you mistakenly paid for pse 2024-- pse 2020 hasn't been sold for a couple of years now.  

Your OS is too old to run PSE 2024- it is of no use to you. 

If what I said is correct you need to seek a refund.
