The application crashes every time I try to open any the sub-menus in the preferences (for example to show rulers, etc.). I have tried to delete and re-install the application to no avail. System is Sonoma, 14.4.1.
Otherwise, the application works as intended. Does anybody has an idea of what could be wrong?
This is a known problem. Hopefully, Adobe is working on a fix. I am going to ping @Jeff Arola another Community Expert who may know if there is a workaround for you.
As far as i know, there is no workaround to the crashing when trying to access Preferences in pse 2024 on some Macs unless a setting can be changed another way.
For example, you mention Rulers, so if the Rulers are visible (View>Rulers) you can change the Ruler Units by right clicking on the Rulers.
