Problem running Elements - no preview and rendering error

New Here ,
Sep 29, 2025 Sep 29, 2025

Hi everyone

I'm posting on this forum here because i need help with the software i just bought and i can't find any support on the Adobe website...

I subscribed, downloaded and installed Elements 2025. Same as with my older version of Elements 2015, I seem to have a graphic card problem (see screenshot attached). The pre-rendering window stays black when i play it. And when i try to render my edit, an error message appears "accelerated renderer error".

I have Windows 10. Intel UHD 620 graphic card + Nvidia MX130. I updated both graphic cards. I downloaded the latest HECV and h.264 codecs i could find. Yet, when i try to edit .mp4 files from my Dji Mini Pro 4, the pre-rendering window always stays black and when i try to export the video there is always an error.

What can I do to make it work and start editing my videos? Or is it possible to cancel the payment of the software and get a refund?

I can't find any help anywhere and i find this issue pretty frustrating. Any thoughts or ideas are welcome. Thank you for your help!

The problem is with the mp4 file produced by your drone- I had the same issue when I got my drone last year.    There are any number of mp4 file fixing tools out there- I spent $29 on mine and it instantly solved my issue.

ABOUT YOUR VIDEO CARD STUFF:  It is borderline useful for the software.   It's old, a barely meets the specs required to even run the program,Always a bit suprising when older hardware can run the software.

You could post over in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Premiere forum and see if they have any suggestions:
