PSE 2024 for Apple Silicon?

I wonder if there is a special version for Apple Silicon. The trial version of PSE 2024 requires Rosetta2 to be installed. I would not like to run software like that on the Mac.

I believe the actual photoshop elements editor 2024 is Apple silicon and the organizer is iOS , but some of the required functions like running certain filters, etc still require Intel code to run, which is why Rosetta is still apparently needed.

I know nothing about Macs, but it is my understanding that Elements 2024 can be used natively on Apple Silicon.  You can find the official specs here.

That is exactly why I am asking. Specifying native support should mean that Rosetta2 is not necessary. Rosetta2 emulates code for ARM processors.

I was a beta tester on the 2024 version and during the different drops both version were developed and depending on the processor being M versions or older Intel based you would install the correct version. I don't know if the install recognizes the processor and just installs the correct version of if you have a choice. The silicon version doesnt neet Rosetta.

Thank you very much for your answers.
I downloaded the installer directly from the customer account. There was no option or selection for Apple Silicon, not even during the installation. The first time I started Photoshop Elements, the program asked me to install Rosetta2.
I have now installed Rosetta2 so that I can use PSE. Everything works so far. However, Adobe's specification that PSE runs natively is not correct.

Yesterday, same issue for me on Mac mini M2 (base mode, limited disk space) – I want to avoid installing Rosetta2. (And nowhere have I found any document which quantified Rosetta2's impact on disk space.) Screenshots attached.
