Just started my 30 day trial and already PSE Organiser will not import my .arw files (Sony raw) in to the catalogue. Claims they are corrupt (whch they aren't: Bridge 2024 copes!) or format not recognised.

I believe the PSE Organizer uses the Camera Raw plugin to handle camera raw files such as from your Sony A6000.

To register your raw files in the catalog, the organizer must first read a conversion of the raw data to an image format, in order to create the small thumbnail to be shown in the browsing space. That implies using the ACR plugin.

From within the PSE Organizer or Photoshop Elements Editor have you gone to Help>Install Camera Raw?

No I haven't as, at this stage, I don't want to edit them in ACR or PSE; I just want to catalogue them
