"Convert to Smart Object" missing from menu when I right-click on a layer.

What am I missing?  Smart Objects are not disabled in my preferences. I'm using PS Elements 2018

You are missing the full Photoshop...

That option is not available in Photoshop Elements.

You can recover that command and many others by installing the very affordable Elements+ add-on.

Never heard of it before but that's an incredible add-on and at the price of a pizza too.  Sure wish they accepted PayPal.  Thanks, MichaelB..

ive downloaded this as i had the same issue but i still cant see the option for smart objects, did you figure it out?
