RAW file support for Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark II

New Here ,
Feb 05, 2018 Feb 05, 2018

I tried to open a raw file from this camera. The error message says it can't open it and that I should run updates. Running the updates didn't help. The adobe website says that adobe photoshop elements (I have version 13) does support this camera. Where do I find the download to add to my PSE 13 to let me open and work on RAW files. Olympus' file extension is .ORF.

Hi,

As you probably know, each manufacturer keeps tweaking their RAW format for newer models.

The OM-D EM-1 Mark II requires a minimum version for camera raw of 9.9

Unfortunately, PSE 13 is only compatible up to version 9.0 of camera raw.

Basically, your options are to either upgrade to a newer version of PSE or to use the free DNG converter provided by Adobe.
