Registering Photoshop Elements 11

Community Beginner ,
Jul 25, 2017 Jul 25, 2017

Hi, I have installed Photoshop Elements 11 on my Mac. I have a product key, but when entering it, it says "Could not register your product at this time. Try again later". I have tried on multiple occasions and still receive the same message. Please can you help?

Many thanks! Keely

Hi again,

Just to follow up with my opening post...

I made contact with an Adobe Support rep via the online chat option. He explained to me that despite my "Could not register your product..." message, if I can see the 'Deactivate' option under the 'Help' menu, then it means my product has actually been activated successfully. I do have this option to 'Deactivate'.

He advised I seek confirmation here as the team on this forum have more expertise in the older Adobe products. Please can you advise if his response is correct and I needn't worry about the message that appears when I try to register?

Thank you!

Please see if following troubleshooting measures help: Activation and deactivation troubleshooting

Thanks,

Arshla

Thank you for the reply, Arshla. I have looked at these troubleshooting measures and none of them apply to me. Also, I do not receive any of those error messages when trying to activate. It solely says "Could not register your product at this time. Try again later". A couple of days have passed and I still receive the same message. Do you think that the Adobe Support rep is correct (and that it is in fact installed)?

Thank you for your help.

That is correct.

I would forget about the message.. PSEv.11 is very old and no longer supported by Adobe. The current version is #15, and probably #16 will come to market this fall. If v.11 works for you, you're ahead of the game.
