I have Elements an Premier Elements12 on my existing computer.  I have the install DVDs but tne license is long gone and Adobe doesn't have any record.  Getting new computer and will purchase new Elements only program. How do I transfer my catalog from my existing computer to the new computer?  Looked at C?program data/Adobe/Photoshop Elements/Catalogs.  The folder is empty.

Hi,

You need to take a 'full backup' of your catalog and restore it to new computer. To do this, please read the instructions in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/elements-organizer/using/backup-or-restore-catalogs.html

Also, the location of the catalog folder can be viewed at Help->System Info->Catalog Location. But the catalog only contains media references, and not the actual media, so you will have to take a full backup to move both the catalog and media.

Let me know if this solves your issue.

Thanks!
