Upgrade from PSE 15 to PSE 23

Why didn't my Albums and People tags come across when I upgraded from PSE 15 to PSE 23? Also some photos came across with really weird dates, e.g. 1601! so they're completely out of order in the Organiser .

Hi John.  You probably failed to convert your Elements 15 Catalog when prompted to do so on the first launch of PSE 2023.  Instead, you have created a new catalog and probably imported your files via the Bulk Import tool.

You can convert your old catalog now, by going to File>Manage Catalogs and clicking on the Convert button.  See this HelpX article for more details.

Thank you Greg for your prompt reply Because the download of the catalogue is so strange with incorrect dates and multiple copies of photos and no people or album tags, I have thought it might be better to delete the PSE 23 catalogue and start again. If I delete it I assume that the PSE 15 will still be there and I can convert it. The interesting thing is that I have been happy with PSE 15 but when I recently tried to open the Edit program it kept telling me to update and wouldn't let me  Edit. Why has this happened?
