In PE Photo Editor 2020 if I drew a line or placed text on a photo I used to be able to use eraser with out disturbing the background. For some reason now the erasser no longer delets the object.

How do I errase a line or a text I placed on a photos?

Thanks!

I think the only way you can erase text without disturbing the background layer is if you select the layer before using the Eraser tool.  And you can only do it if you simplify the text layer.  Of course, you can always edit the letters in a text layer by double-clicking on the layer.

Similarly, the only way you can remove a line drawn with a tool such as a brush is if you place the line on a separate layer.  The eraser can then be used to eliminate the drawn line.
