I am unable to install Photoshop Elements / Premiere Elements 2019 on Windows 11

Figured it out from other postings.

 

You need to install Adobe Creative Cloud first.

 

Adobe Creative Cloud download

 

Once you install the cloud desktop, proceed with your Elements install.

My inability to install with a message regarding "restart required" appeared to be resolved when simply hitting "IGNORE" (which might have been an obvious choice for some ;-)) after which the installation continued as per usual. At the end of the installation there was still an error message (see screenshot below), but when actually starting PE 2018, it worked fine. I'm hoping I'll be equally as successful with the installation of Premiere Elements.

This is an absolute disgrace. Adobe should step up and post an update that fixes the problem. Unless of course it is just a way to force people to move to their new product with a license that expires.

This is the solution which as worked for many.   It does some like it would be an easy fix to include it in an installer, but I'm not a programmer.
