I didn't realize photoshop mix was being eliminated and have been trying to see if similar features were available for express. The plus button and easy layering tools made edits quick and easy. I keep seeing recommendations to pick a layers or plus button on express but can't find them. Are any similar tools available for android? It's super frustrating because photoshop mix was so user friendly.

I'm also really disappointed that this app has been shut down without incorporating the layer/cutout features into one of the other mobile apps - I used it all the time to make silly custom birthday cards for family and friends, and the junk apps in the app store all want to charge something like £10 per week to use their dodgy alternatives.

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the app. Please refer to the article below to use the combine feature for cutout and layer in Photoshop Express:
Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you,

That article does not answer Paul's question. Please provide a direct response why Adobe has failed to offer the same level of service to Android users as it does to iOS users. Thank you

SUPER FRUSTRATED about this. I used Mix almost daily to edit product pics for my e-commerce business. Super easy and fast editing. The same old [cursing removed] answer from Adobe, "We're sorry". I doubt that. Yet another great tool discontinued. I'm about ready to dump my subscription since there are great alternatives for less cost

I was surprised by the fact that Adobe discontinued the Photoshop Mix App, which was so useful to me.
Photoshop Express lacks the possibility of using layers. At least on Android this is not possible.
@Neelamk's suggestion is not possible to run on Android phones.

I just got off a hour live chat with 5 different reps with absolutely zero updates or fixes. All they did was try to sell me a monthly subscription to photography which has nothing to do with the features found in Adobe Mix.
Honestly, Adobe is currently is paying more attention to iOS users than Android users. Why? I do not know but I imagine just like every business decision there is financial capital attached to their decision to disregard and android users and favor of iOS users. Which is very sad and pathetic.

Glad I'm not the only one frustrated about this. I'm thinking of canceling my subscription at this point
