Steps to reproduce:
    1. ... playing videos in premiere

Result: ... cannot hear audio
Expected: ... being able to hear audio

    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v25.0.0.34
    OS: macOS v14.6.1, RAM: 8.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 8

I have had instances lately when the computer decides to pick another device as its default, and Premier follows. If your monitors have audio over HDMI or DP and have no speakers, they can sieze playback and you get no audio. Have to change the setting in the OS to get playback again. My experience is in Windows, but Mac could do the same, I suppose.
