This appears to be a new bug introduced in roughly the past month or so. If you make a change to an audio file imported in your project, Premiere will throw the following error: "A disk error occurred while attempting to access the following file: **name_of_file.extension samplerate.cfa**"
This error prevents the audio file from playing anywhere in Premiere Pro.

Hi @Michael2345 - Hi
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Do you see this issue in the Stable version of Premiere Pro version 25.2.3?
What audio program are you using to make changes?

Jamie,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I did some more testing, but realized this issue may not be on Adobe's end after all.
First off, I tested the issue in the stable version of Premiere (25.2.3 Build 4), and the issue occurred.
Then I realized that the bulk of my issues were occurring with .flac formatted audio files, and I remembered I'm using Autokroma Influx to import formats (like .flac and .mkv) that aren't supported natively by Premiere.
I experimented with natively supported audio formats like .aac and .mp3, and the issue did not occur.
This suggests that some recent change to Premiere has caused a compatibility issue for Influx and that the issue is on Autokroma's end to solve.
I apologize for sending the bug report to the wrong place, and thank you for looking into the issue. It appears we can mark this one as resolved.
