Editors have long expressed that automatic track creation can disrupt their editorial flow because it can upset intentional track setups, in particular when the source has more audio channels than the editing sequence. This new preference allows you to stay in control of your timeline and keep your tracks organized. Now you can go into Settings/Preferences → Timeline → Turn off “Add tracks automatically when editing source clips into the Timeline.” This update directly addresses the feature request here: Thanks to everyone who took the time to share feedback and use cases -- your input helped shape this improvement. Transcripts use precise timing of words, and you can see the sub-frame timing in display of the Playhead in the timeline. Zoom in to the frame level and use Left/Right in the Transcript tab. Most operations work as if the playhead is on a frame, for example, Ctl+K cuts at the end of that current frame. However, if “automatically set in/out points” is OFF in the Transcript tab (so you can manually set in/out), you can see in the timeline that the in/out points are actually set between frames. And Extract leaves a one-frame video gap, and less than one frame audio gap. (See screenshot.) A black frame is observed on playback and in export.     I used Extract, but Lift shows the same results when using Ripple Delete or Close Gap.   Regular Text-based editing with “automatically set in/out points” ON, sets in/out only on frames. If you use regular Text-based editing with the timeline displaying Audio Time Units, it will leave the gaps. Workarounds: do not use Text-based edit

Issue:Premiere Pro incorrectly detects silences in Transcript / Text Based Editing. The detected silence regions are visibly offset from the real audio waveform, so the silence markers do not line up with the actual pauses. Because of this, removing pauses is unreliable and sometimes cuts into spoken dialogue instead of only removing real silence.This happens in both Premiere Pro Beta and the regular Premiere Pro release, so it does not appear to be limited to one version branch.Steps to reproduce:1. Import a video clip with spoken dialogue and natural pauses.2. Create a sequence from that clip.3. Open the Text panel and create a transcript using Text Based Editing.4. Let Premiere detect pauses / silences in the transcript.5. Compare the detected silence block positions against the actual waveform in the timeline.6. Notice that the detected silence regions are offset and do not match the real silent areas correctly.7. If you use the remove pauses function, Premiere may remove the wrong

The pen and shape tools are only creating shapes in new layers and not creating masks for effects.

It’s very simple and is reproduceable every time.  I upgraded to 26.3 today, and everytime I click file, export, media encoder… media encoder does not start, and premiere just closes. When I open it back up, it says ‘it unexpectedly shut down’, and ask if I want to open the file.  Every time I try, this happens. Restarting does nothing. When i go back to using the non-beta version, everything works perfectly as expected. It’s only a problem in the newest beta.

I’m having a hard time getting my N-RAW footage to look right. I’m attaching a few pictures to hopefully explain. They show my project setting, sequence settings and clip settings. There is one photo with no changes done and one photo of Overide color space to Nikon NLog. The NLog looks completly oversatuated. I’d like to use ACEScct for more dynaic range but my highlights stipp look blowout even at sub 90ire. Any suggestion? Workflow help? Please and thank you.

I’m working on a massive documentary project and my Media Cache is filling up faster than usual.Do you guys prefer to "Clean" the cache manually within Premiere, or do you use a third-party app to clear out the database? Also, how often do you reset your preferences for better stability during big edits?

Here are a few bugs for Beta version as well as universal bugs for all versions.Beta version bugs:The Object Mask Tool is great. But the removal of free shape draw mask tool is a mistake. That’s why I still have to use non beta version sometimes. If I want to draw a specific shape and use if further as a mask. On Beta - that is impossible. What? The Object Mask Tool highlights a suggested shape. That is a significant downgrade if I want  a strict shape easily. Stability issues. I installed the Premiere Pro Beta yesterday. I'm on the 7 day free trial. When using the hand tool in the program window, with the window zoomed in, scroll bars don't appear and the hand tool does not move the contents of the window around when clicking, holding and moving the cursor. I have created an object mask that tracks in a short sequence.  A Gaussian blur is applied to the masked area. The mask was created by drawing around the item on the first frame of the sequence, and then using imbetweening across the rest of the sequence frames.  This works perfectly - the tracking is awesome. There are 2 issues:Within Premiere, playback is corrupted (lots of flashing colours across the full canvas). When you pause playback, this settles and shows everything correctly (including the mask and blur).When exporting the sequence to a video, the object mask and blur are ignored (entirely absent).  Exporting individual frames (as BMPs) works correctly. System spec:Arm processor: Snapdragon(R) X Elite - X1E80100 - Qualcomm(R) Oryon(TM) CPU (3.42 GHz)64GB RAMWindows 11 25H2Version 25.6.0 BETA (Build 102)

Description: I’m experiencing a bug in the current Premiere Pro Beta (version 25.6.0) related to manual masking and keyframe animation.When I draw a mask using the Pen tool or shape tools and attempt to animate it using Mask Path keyframes, the mask does not respond to changes. Even after enabling the stopwatch and adjusting the mask on different frames, the animation does not register—both keyframes remain identical, and the mask stays static.I’ve confirmed this behavior in multiple projects and tried the following workarounds:Toggling the Mask Path stopwatchManually adjusting the mask shape on different framesUsing different effects (Gaussian Blur, Lumetri Color)Resetting workspaces and preferencesNone of these resolved the issue. O Lumetri Color funciona bem para ajustes básicos dentro do Premiere, mas muitos editores sentem falta de ferramentas de color grading mais avançadas.Tenho percebido cada vez mais profissionais deixando o Premiere e migrando completamente para o DaVinci Resolve, principalmente por causa do sistema de cores muito mais avançado e flexível.Seria incrível ver a Adobe investir mais no Lumetri Color e trazer ferramentas mais profissionais no futuro. After masking and tracking an object with the latest tool in the object (which works suprisingly good and smooth), I can not change the opacity of the mask unde this tool. The opacity slider moves but does not do anything. Help pls :')

I’m trying to run a plug-in built with the UXP framework in Premiere Pro 25.6 Beta.When I load the plug-in using the UXP Developer Tool, it runs correctly in Premiere.However, when I place the plug-in folder directly into~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/Extensions/and try to launch it via Window > UXP Extensions in Premiere, the plug-in doesn’t appear.In the UXP Extensions menu, I only see options like “Browse Plug-ins” and “Manage Plug-ins,” but not the plug-in I placed manually.How can I make the plug-in appear in the UXP Extensions menu without using the UXP Developer Tool?Also, I’m wondering: now that UXP Extensions are available, are classic extensions (CEP) no longer supported?
