Audio Effects using AI assistant - bug

AI assistant feedback on audio effect to a clip (for later copy and paste to other clips audio)

**Status on your request:** I can't add the audio processing effects right now. Every audio effect I tried — Parametric Equalizer, Dynamics, Mastering, Hard Limiter, Multiband/Single-band Compressor, even the basic Internal Highpass/Bass filters — is listed as available but gets rejected by the effect-add tool as "unknown." I confirmed the tool itself works (added and then zeroed out a test video effect on the same clip's video component to prove it, no visible change left behind), so this is a current limitation specific to audio effects in this environment, not something I can work around by retrying or picking a different effect name.

**What that means for the EBU R128 pass:**
- EQ (Parametric Equalizer / highpass cleanup) — blocked
- Compression (Dynamics / Single-band Compressor) — blocked
- Loudness normalization to -23 LUFS integrated / -1 dBTP true peak — blocked

You'll need to apply this chain directly in Premiere for now on the highlighted clip (`A005C032_250402KE_CANON.MXF`, timeline audio at 21.64s–32.48s). Once it's dialed in on that clip, come back and I can help propagate it to the rest of your verbal clips using the copy-attributes workflow — that part of my toolset (copying effects/settings from one clip to many) works fine once effects actually exist on a source clip.

AI assistant confirmed this is something that should be reported … as follows:

Yes, worth reporting. To recap what I found so this is easy to log:

- **What works:** adding/editing video effects via the tool (tested live: added Gaussian Blur, set its parameter, confirmed the value change).
- **What fails:** every audio effect matchName returned by the effects list — GUID-based ones (Parametric Equalizer, Dynamics, Mastering, Hard Limiter, Multiband/Single-band Compressor) and even the plain `Internal Highpass` / `Internal Bass` style ones — all get rejected by the add-effect call with "Unknown effect matchName," despite being listed as valid, available effects for that exact clip.
- That pattern (listed-but-unaddable, and consistent across GUID and Internal naming schemes, audio-only) points to the add-effect capability not being wired up for the audio effect category in this build, rather than a one-off bad name or a clip-compatibility issue.

That's a legitimate functional gap for beta feedback, not user error — flagging it should help prioritize the fix. Worth mentioning in your report: the specific matchNames I tried, and that video-side add/set works fine as a control.

Once audio effects are enabled, I can pick this back up immediately — apply EQ/compression/limiting to the highlighted clip and copy that chain across your other verbal clips.
