Warp stabilizer causes Premiere to crash instantly. On some clips it works, but for example ALL-I H.264 files from Mavic 4 Pro cause a crash.

System specs:

Ryzen Threadripper  7970X

128GB

Nvidia 5090

Latest drivers for all components.

Premiere version 26.5.0.051

I found out that if timeline color setting is set to Wide Gamut, then Warp Stabilizer crashes Premiere on my Threadripper setup. It timeline is set to Direct Rec.709 Warp Stabilizer analyze works. After analyzing timeline can be set to Wide Gamut again and Premiere won’t crash. In Wide Gamut the crash happens during Warp Stabilizer analyzing. Maybe this will help to narrow down this bug Adobe? And btw. this happens on all H.264 files.

This seems to happen on all H.264 footage. On Canon .CRM raw files Warp Stabilizer works. I can have a remote session with Adobe employee and share logs.

All posts are read by Adobe employees.

Put your files on a regular drive not One Drive. Known to give issues.

One Drive grand for backup but not for editing.

On a side note: your colors don't look right.

My files are on a high speed NAS and work just fine. On Premiere 26.3 Warp Stabilizer works just fine. So the problem is with beta version. Colors look weird because it is not a screen recording, but an iPhone video of my monitor. That is not relevant on this bug, just to show what is happening.

Someone from Adobe please take a look at this. This is still without a fix. Seems to be hardware related, since on my Macbook Pro Warp Stabilizer works with ALL-I H.264 files from Mavic 4 Pro.
