With build 58, I notice a .prin file is created with the project. Windows says it's an "Adobe Media Intellegence Project Index File." What's that supposed to do???

the automatic transcription fails to properly transcribe the dialogues and this issue leads to wrong close captions

I’m having a hard time getting my N-RAW footage to look right. I’m attaching a few pictures to hopefully explain. They show my project setting, sequence settings and clip settings. There is one photo with no changes done and one photo of Overide color space to Nikon NLog. The NLog looks completly oversatuated. I’d like to use ACEScct for more dynaic range but my highlights stipp look blowout even at sub 90ire. Any suggestion? Workflow help? Please and thank you. 

Hey community! I’m working on a massive documentary project and my Media Cache is filling up faster than usual.Do you guys prefer to "Clean" the cache manually within Premiere, or do you use a third-party app to clear out the database? Also, how often do you reset your preferences for better stability during big edits?

O Lumetri Color funciona bem para ajustes básicos dentro do Premiere, mas muitos editores sentem falta de ferramentas de color grading mais avançadas.Tenho percebido cada vez mais profissionais deixando o Premiere e migrando completamente para o DaVinci Resolve, principalmente por causa do sistema de cores muito mais avançado e flexível.Seria incrível ver a Adobe investir mais no Lumetri Color e trazer ferramentas mais profissionais no futuro. Sinto muito falta de congelar tracks, e também de ter recursos de sidechain no painel de mixagem. entre outras funções que tornariam a mixagem mais rápida para comerciais publicitários. 

Hi everyone,I just started using the Premiere Pro beta to test out the new object tracking feature. No matter how long I wait, it gets stuck at "Initializing" and just keeps spinning.My setup: Windows 11, Premiere Pro beta 26.0, GPU 5080, CPU Ryzen 9800X3d. The footage is from an iPhone 17.Things I've already tried: clearing the media cache, converting the file to ProRes, and nesting the clip before tracking. Nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas?

The amount of additional data Premiere projects can potentially have keeps increasing with new features. I think the development team should look into streamlining this data when it comes to how/where it is stored because currently they are all their own entities next to the project file. To my knowledge this is the current list of ‘things’ that can spawn next to the project file.Adobe Premiere Pro Audio Previews Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save Adobe Premiere Pro Captured and Generated Adobe Premiere Pro Video Previews [project filename] .prin file [project filename] Masks folder (new with object mask) [project filename] .prlock fileThis is just becoming too much clutter around anybody's own workflow and folder structure. Proposal:Move all data folders into a single folder “Premiere Data Files” or similar appropriate name.For logical reasons .prlock and perhaps .prin can remain next to project. 

I recently downloaded Premiere Pro 26.0 and when I went to manually mask something by using the Path tool no keyframes appeared. Whenever I move the mask with my mouse keyframes do not appear but they do when I move it with the arrow keys. Why could this be and how do I fix it?

I believe two buttons in the Link Media window have been swapped. I assume this is a bug because I don’t know why these buttons would just randomly be swapped mid-version. “Locate” and “Cancel” have been flipped. Issue – The Locate and Cancel buttons are swapped in the “Link Media” window Steps to reproduce – I hit “Link Media” and the window pops up Expected result – The Locate button should be on the right, and cancel on the left. Actual result – The buttons are swapped.  Screen recording – I’ve attached a screenshot. Adobe Premiere Pro version – 25.6.4 (build 5) Operating system – MacOS Sequoia 15.5 Comparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs:  This problem began when I upgraded from 25.6.3 to 25.6.4  It happens every time I open the window It was not like this in 25.6.3  

Am I being thick or has PPro, since the introduction of the whole AI-powered roto/"Unassigned Masks"(?!) thing lost its ability to do simple masking? Until recently, to mask out a portion of a clip, I'd open the clip's Opacity in the Effect Controls panel, click the pen icon and draw a mask. That's it. But that's now gone, and it seems every reference I can find to masking now only refers to masking an effect. And there's the new AI mask/rotoscoping thing, which I'm not interested in this project. How can I simply add a mask to a layer - I just want a portion of it to show; the mask will not move, and I have no effects on the layer - it's effectively like a garbage matte. Creative Cloud on my machine (windows) only shows Photoshop Beta v. 25.4. V26 would be awesome for a project I'm working on, but I can't seem to find the upgrade. I have tried uninstalling in Creative Cloud, reinstalling from creative cloud and from an Adobe.com download. I am an Enterprise user at a company, is it possible my Corporate Information Security folks are blocking the update? Or could there be some weird error with Creative Cloud, OR is it just not rolled out to everyone yet? If so, I find it weird that I can't find or download 25.6 either.

Was wondering if utilizing Adobe Portfolio encryption password will work for use of a website for multiple users - but I do not want the ether to garner access to the website as it is proprietary information?  And if it is essentially ok to proceed forward, am I to understand if I create a password for the entire site, will I have to enter the password for each app (thus slowing down any production) and if someone has the access to my website, with the password, they would also have access to all the other apps and creative designs in my Creative Cloud? 

Can't draw shapes anymore with masks in the latest Premiere Pro Beta. Started after the last update (v25.2 - the one that fixed the issue where nesting stopped working). Y'all really gotta stop breaking core features so regularly.

I have a corporate team subscription through my company. I already have Premiere Pro Beta, as well as After Effects Beta. I just wanted to get the latest update only to find I have no access to the Beta apps now - except for Illustrator. I can install Illustrator Beta from the "Pre-release" tab.

I am getting this error in the beta 25.4.0 build 83All I have done to generate this is drop the warp stabilize effect on 3 clips, turned on detailed and turned off fast. the error appears a short time after the the clip starts to analyze for warp stabilize. Not sure  if the timeline itself is generating this error when it draws the thumbs, or the warp stabilize effect is generating it as it processes the clips. CPU and GPU are not very busy when this happened, or SSD's   In this state while warp stabilize is running, premier is highly non responsive on Time line scroll, other windows are performing fine.   If I move to a place on the timeline where none of the clips I have warp stabilize working on, the timeline returns to normal performance, and can play video smooth in the program monitor also. it seems that the thumbs for the time line stopped drawing after these errors appeared:  I had continu

I have a beta version and understand the new AI object mask tool.  What if I want to mask a general region and not an object.  For instance a power window.

Hi everyone,I’ve been working on a large video project (over 1 hour long) in Adobe Premiere Pro Beta for almost two weeks. Suddenly, when I try to open the project, I get this error message:“The project appears to be damaged. It cannot be opened.”Here’s what I’ve already tried:Opening multiple auto-saved versions → same error appears.Copying the project and opening it on a different computer → same error.Trying to open the project in the main (stable) version of Premiere Pro → it says“This project was saved in a newer version of Adobe Premiere Pro and cannot be opened in this version.”So at this point, I can’t open the project in Beta or the main version.Has anyone encountered this before, or is there any possible way to recover or repair a damaged project file from the Premiere Pro Beta?Any help would mean a lot — this is a big project and I’d really like to avoid starting over. Thanks in advance!

Last night I had the premire pro beta 25.6 and I opened it the next day and it said I had to re install premire pro beta and when I did it installed 25.4 instead of 25.6. Then, when I checked to see the latest version it says its 25.4. Please Help

In the beta version of Premiere Pro, the synchronisation feature is not working at all. Need to fixed this in the next update.
