PLEASE do not nerf comparison view...

In the new beta (26.5 build 13) comparison view is basically nerfed. I can’t use it in color mode to compare one clip to another, which is ESSENTIAL if you shoot with different cameras, but it doesn’t appear in the editing mode program monitor buttons either….which is also an extremely useful tool when comparing footages in order to find splice points, etcetera. PLEASE do not nerf comparison view...it is SUCH an important tool beyond just seeing a “before and after” for color grading!!!!!

    That has been discussed as something that is coming but not ready to put out yet. Patience, this is still beta … and many other things are also coming as soon as they seem at least mostly stable … ;-)

      As someone used to working color from a panel, it’s weird to be mousing everything ... but that’s just for now. Like so many other things full panel support will be coming in not too much longer.

       

      That said ... and remember, I don’t like mousing for color ... this new color mode is the most amazing color toolset I’ve used so far.
