Essential Graphics Tab (Captions Editing)

New Here ,
Oct 14, 2024 Oct 14, 2024

Hi Adobe Community,

With the V. 25 update I have lost my "Essential Graphics" panel where I would edit settings within my captions (like turning lower-case letters into all caps). Unfortunately, the "Properties" doesn't give me access to edit the captions only the transform, crop and audio aspects of my captions. I linked a video below to re-explain what I can no longer do with the update. Any thoughts?

Hi @Chandler35608248jeh2,

The Essential Graphics panel has been renamed to the Graphics Template panel to choose your mogrts. You can edit from the Properties panel after clicking on your captions/mogrt/graphic clips in the timeline.

If highlighting/clicking on your captions in the timeline does not bring up the relevant controls in the Properties panel, it's possible you've hit a bug. Could you share a video of what's happening and let me know if you're using Mac or Windows?

Cheers,

Theresa
